Police appeal after fatal collision on B1249

Officers investigating a fatal road traffic collision are appealing for witnesses to come forward.


The collision took place at around 1:40am this morning (Saturday 11 June) on the B1249 near Driffield, when a red Vauxhall Corsa and a red Skoda Fabia are reported to have come off the road.

An 18-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

Another man is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
